The plan for Blair’s bachelorette party originally was:

First, dinner at Le Charlot, and then off to the Tiffany suite at St. Regis for Kir Royales and Kiki de Montparnasse.

Let’s break his down bit by bit. First stop was Le Charlot restaurant a the Upper East Side. Whenever Blair wants a piece of Paris in New York, she goes to La Charlot, which retains the unique Parisian elegance and charm rarely seen outside of France. It’s not the most luxurious place in New York, but it’s a great spot to have a bite and perfect for a date. Here is what The Time out says about the place:

By about 8pm at this clubby haunt, quiet conversation is out; noise, fun and food are in. Roasted goat cheese in a rich flaky pastry and silky, full-flavored foie gras terrine lead the appetizer pack. For your entrée, consider one of the mussel dishes, especially the Thai variation with ginger, lemongrass and cilantro, or go straight for the succulent steak au poivre. (Pairing your meal with a good wine shouldn’t be a problem; the list is nearly 20 pages long.) Le Charlot’s desserts, which include profiteroles and tarte Tatin, do the classics justice.
